Meet “Winslow,” a 1965 Volkswagen Beetle,
with L87 Patina exterior and OG color interior.
New weatherstripping rubber all around.
A perfect condition rust free pan.
Interior is all new.
Radio is inside the glove compartment, with custom compartment done right,
so you can still store things in and still be fully functional,
running with (1) pioneer speaker in the stock location, keeping the authenticity of this bug (wiring is available for speakers to be located in luggage area).
All lighting and electric wiring works as it should
Secret Cut off switch, for security.
New suspension including 2 1/2" drop spindles, 2 inch narrowed, adjustable beam, and front disc brakes.
Rear vent “pop-out” windows.
All new Power-train built by Robert “Bob” La Coste.
2276cc Case,
Dual 44 IDF Italian Webers
6 Quart Sump
Oil Cooler with electric fan coming on 165+ degrees.
Remote large Racing oil filter.
Headers to a Fatboy Muffler Exhaust.
It has an HD Pro Street transaxle with a Gene Berg Short Shifter on a stock handle.
Hydraulic Short Stage 1 Clutch
The only reason I didn't give it a Excellent rating is because it doesn't have a brand new paint job, but with looks like these... who needs one :o) Patina!
Any rust you see is very light surface rust, you can barely feel it when you pass you hand over it, there are NO perforations anywhere on this car, it is NOT a RUSTY car. The gutter rails, OG pans and heater channels are in perfect shape.
Oh wait, would you like to see this bug in action... behold VIDEOS!
